⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for a hidden gem in the mountains of Virginia, you HAVE to check out Three Notch’d in Nellysford! The views alone are absolutely breathtaking especially during sunset. Sitting outside with the mountain views, gazebos in the back, and all the open space made this such a relaxing experience. The axe throwing was such a fun add on and made the night even better! The beer was great, the atmosphere was family friendly, and there was so much to do. They even have corn hole, soccer fields for the kids, outdoor seating with amazing scenery, and a distillery right there too. One of the best deals was their pick your app and main course special for only $16! We got the nachos and the Philly, and both were so good. Honestly, I’ve had almost everything on the menu over time and it’s one of those places that keeps you coming back because the food never disappoints. Huge shoutout to Cody, the manager, who came by to personally check on us. Super friendly and made us feel welcomed. Great service like that really stands out. This place is 100% worth the visit. Amazing food, amazing views, fun atmosphere, and the perfect mountain getaway vibe. Highly recommend! 🌄🍻

3NB the place to be! Whether you want to enjoy the outside tables with your pup, play some corn hoke or just want a great dining and. Average experience this is your place. The food selection has something for everyone even the kiddos! This is my go to place for great food and drink. I eat here a few times a week and meet up with friends after work. Hit up Cody or Shera and say hi! Chill to the max not like some of the other stuffy breweries who hustle you out! Your place if you are a local or just visiting!!!

There are many great places in the area. Three notch'd is definitely one of them. Variety of areas to hang out, eat, and drink The old fashioned (made their Orion) and IPA's were great. Grabbed a few appetizers. Would get both again (onion rings and wings)

Stopped in for lunch and had a beer of my own, I also tried a few others. Drinks were solid, the food on the other hand was not. Our server seemed annoyed and rude from the start. Not sure if she was overwhelmed with other tables, but this was at 11:15am. I ordered the onion ring app to start. It was well above average. Perfectly cooked but could have been seasoned better. Not a ton of flavor in the batter, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Ok, here is where things fall apart. I ordered the Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich as my entree. When it came, I noticed it consisted of two small, thin chicken patties like you would find in the frozen food section at your local grocery store. Once I bit into the sandwich, my suspicions were confirmed: processed chicken. Not what I was expecting from this establishment. To be clear, my expectation was for a fresh chicken breast, battered and fried on site. I tried my best to capture this in the photos I took. I was extremely disappointed to say the least, especially for the price point. (The fries and Mac and cheese were excellent!) I would return in the future for drinks, however I will eat elsewhere.

★★☆☆☆

Both our meals were overcooked. The Honey Badger Burger should have been well done but ended up dry and chewy, and the seasonal Harvest Gnocchi was also dry and lacking (all the sauce sank to the bottom). The beer selection was good, but the meal overall was disappointing.
